Memorial Day Fun
We had a wonderful time over Memorial Day Weekend! We traveled up to the Panhandle and spent time with Leah's family. Avery and Christina came in from Minneapolis. We had a great time at a BBQ with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Here are a few pictures of us playing a little horseshoe game we all like to play. We also visited Cadilac Ranch, played tennis, went to the movies, and had a lot of laughs!

The Graduate
Today Adi graduated from Puppy Class! I know you may think it is silly for us to enroll our dog in a class, but we are really thankful that we did it. She had a great time meeting and playing with other dogs and Bryan and I learned a lot about house-training and helping her become more obedient. She really has come a long way. We tried really hard for a nice graduation picture with her little hat, but Adi doesn't like things on her head. After many attempts, this was the best we could do. Katie (our teacher) had to hold it on her head while Bryan held her on his lap and I used one hand to hold the camera and one hand to dangle a treat in Adi's face. On second thought...maybe it wasn't that Adi didn't like the hat...maybe she just found it more interesting to have 3 adults working so hard. Anyway...I'm sorry that the top of Bryan's head got cut off in the picture. You can see over his shoulder that most dogs will sit nicely for their graduation pictures. Maybe we should take that as a sign that we need to sign up for intermediate class in a couple of weeks...hmmmmm....

New Family Member
On February 28th we added a new family member. That's right, we adopted a puppy! She is a basset hound named Adi (after Adidas). She is almost 6 months old. She loves to shake hands and is pretty good at playing fetch with one of her toys. She has been so much fun for us! Here are a few of our favorite pictures.
A New Endeavor
Okay...here we go! I've been having so much fun reading friends blogs and keeping up with their activities that I thought I would give it a try myself.
