Happy New Years...Belated

Okay, so 2010 began almost a month ago. But, yesterday we were at Northpark Mall and this window display was so cool that I had to take a picture and blog it. I don't even remember what store it was...but how cool. I know it is hard to tell, but 2010 is spelled out in...FORTUNE COOKIES! How clever! And at the bottom of the display were tons more fortune cookies still in the wrappers.
And for some reason I payed even more attention to all of the flower displays because I thought they were so interesting. Most of them were some kind of cactus...I guess because it is winter and all. But, they were mostly spineless. Aren't they cool.

Anyway, I know this is kind of a random post, but I thought it was neat.

Oh, we went to see "The Book of Eli." It definitely deserves an R rating, but it was actually really good. It was unusual and kind of slow at first. But, it had some cool twists, so make sure to pay really close attention if you go see it.

Here We Come

This is all that needs to be said after the Cowboys play-off game against the Eagles last night! How 'bout them Cowboys! It sure was a great game! And I will even admit that I took these photos from the jumbo-tron after the game.

We didn't have the audio, but we assume this is Jerry Jones saying something nice to Wade Phillips in the locker room...maybe, "we'll have you back next year."

Snow Baby

Okay, I am a little late posting these....
Here is Adi playing in some lingering snow a day or two after Christmas. Some friends watched her while we were traveling, so we missed her "first" day to play in any substantial snow. Jean said it took her a minute to realize it was okay and then she ran all over the place.
She mostly liked to eat the snow. Walks took a little longer since she wanted to stop at each new patch for a couple of bites.
